Jérémie Renier (French: [ʁenje]; born 6 January 1981)[1] is a Belgian actor.[2][3] His film debut was in 1992 at the age of eleven in a small Belgian film entitled "Les sept péchés capitaux (The Seven Deadly Sins)".[4] He became better known to worldwide audiences in Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) and L'Enfant (2005). The latter was directed by the Dardenne brothers. He portrayed French singer Claude François in the 2012 film My Way, for which he was nominated for a César Award for Best Actor, and Yves Saint Laurent co-founder Pierre Bergé in the 2014 biopic Saint Laurent, which earned him a César Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
