Jaanus Nõmmsalu (born January 19, 1981 in Pärnu) is an Estonian volleyball player currently playing for his hometown club Pärnu VK where he also started his career in 1997. He has also played in France, Austria, Greece, Czech Republic and Russia.

Nõmmsalu was a member of the Estonian national team from 1999 to 2013. He represented Estonia at the 2009 and 2011 Men's European Volleyball Championship.
