The Jack N. Averitt College of Graduate Studies is one of the eight colleges at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. It is responsible for all of the graduate programs in the University.

Since Georgia Southern University was recently elevated to research university status by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, plans are underway to begin offering Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in several major areas.
