Jairo Aníbal Niño (September 5, 1941 in Moniquirá (Boyacá) - August 30, 2010 in Bogotá) was a Colombian writer and directed the Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia (National Library of Colombia). He was awarded the Premio Nacional de Literatura Colombiana in 1977 and is known for his authorship of literature for young readers.[1]
