Jambu Lochan was a Hindu king of the solar lineage, after whom the Indian state Jammu is believed to have been named. According to tradition, he is the earliest known Dogra Suryavanshi Hindu king.[1] He had another brother named Bahu Lochan. The fort of Bahu present in Jammu on the side of Tawi river was attributed to him.
