Alderman James T. Thompson was the Mayor of Birkenhead, England c. 1899.[1]

During his time in office, he earned many presentation pieces, several of which were sold at the Bonhams, at Chester, on 4 September 2012.[1][2][3][4] He was on the Honours list for the Lord Mayor title, but died the year he was supposed to have it[citation needed].
