James Douglas Blair, commonly known as James D. Blair, was the first United Protestant Bishop of Dhaka and previously the assistant bishop of Calcutta. He was not the first Bishop of the Church of Bangladesh. He was a missionary of Oxford Mission Church and the overseer of Diocese of Dhaka of the Church of India, Burma and Ceylon.[1][2]
