James F. ("Jim") Cardwell[1] was the president of Warner Home Video (WHV) from 2002–2005.[2]

During his tenure as president of WHV, Cardwell created two new divisions (TV-on-DVD and special interest).

Under Cardwell, WHV's revenue stream and profitability significantly increased each year, and WHV maintained a market leadership in the home entertainment industry.[citation needed]

Cardwell has a master's degree in economics from The University of Manchester in England.

Following his departure from Warner Bros., Cardwell has focused on content production. He was the executive producer of the motion picture Bienvenue Cannes,[3] through his production company TRMC, as well as producer of The Final Season. He is currently chairman of WR Entertainment.[4]
