Janusz C. Szajna - Polish entrepreneur and university professor.

J. Szajna was the organizer and Director of Computer Engineering and Electronic Department at Zielona Gora University.[1]

He was one of 4 co-founders of ADB Group (Advanced Digital Broadcast) (SWX:ADBN), an ICT company operating in the field of Digital TV.[2][3][4][5]

In particular, he was the founder, and, between 1995 and 2012, President of ADB Poland – ADB Group Corporate R&D Center, which developed software and hardware for digital TV and home networking devices, employing over 500 ICT engineers.[6][7][8][9]

Set top boxes developed by ADB Poland obtained 12 times the title ‘Product of the Year’ at IBC, MIS Research, CSI, and IPTV World Forum.[10][11][12][13]
At that time ADB sold over 30 million set-top boxes to Australia, Taiwan, Israel, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Norway, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Poland.[14][15][16][17][18][19]

In 2006, ADB Group has been listed among the fastest growing European companies, published by Europe's 500 - Entrepreneurs for Growth [20]
In 2012 ADB Group reached an annual turnover of US$452 million.[21]

J. Szajna is the founder, and since 2013, President of Digital Technology Poland (DTP), R&D company in the field of Smart Industry.[22]

He is Professor at Zielona Gora University.

J. Szajna was awarded a title ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ by Ernst & Young, in Services category, Poland, 2004.[23][24]
