National Route 279 is a national highway of Japan that connects Hakodate, Hokkaidō and Noheji, Aomori in Japan, with a total length of 107 km (66.49 mi). The highway, along with National Route 338, crosses the Tsugaru Strait by ferry from Hakodate to Oma, Aomori.
