Jeffrey Cirio is an American classical ballet dancer. He is a Principal Dancer for American Ballet Theatre.

Biography

Cirio trained at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Orlando Ballet School. He joined the corps de ballet of Boston Ballet in 2009, was promoted to Second Soloist in 2009, and to Soloist in 2010. Cirio became a Principal at Boston Ballet in 2012.[1] In 2015, Cirio moved to the American Ballet Theatre company as a Soloist. His promotion to a Principal Dancer was announced by Kevin McKenzie in July 2016.[2]

Personal life

Jeffrey Cirio is the younger brother of Lia Cirio, a Principal Dancer at Boston Ballet and Gabriel Cirio. They have established an artistic collective called Cirio Collective in 2015.[3]
