Jeleniec [jɛˈlɛɲɛt͡s] (German: Gelens) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Papowo Biskupie, within Chełmno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Papowo Biskupie, 12 km (7 mi) south-east of Chełmno, 28 km (17 mi) north of Toruń, and 38 km (24 mi) north-east of Bydgoszcz.

The village has a population of 560.
