Jenny Lovell

Jenny Lovell is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Jenny Hartley in the television series Prisoner. She is the daughter of classic Sydney radio and television actor Nigel Lovell and respected actor and producer Patricia Lovell. Jenny appeared in Picnic at Hanging Rock and Gallipoli in her early career, the horror film Darkness Falls and has performed at The Globe Theatre, London, pursuing her passion for Shakespeare.

She has also appeared in A Country Practice and Blue Heelers.

Since 1996, Jenny has been General Manager of Impro Melbourne, an improvisational theatre company based in Melbourne, Victoria. During her time with the company, Jenny has produced, directed and starred in various impro formats, including many seasons of Theatresports, which for the past 5 years has been held at Theatreworks in St. Kilda.
