Jim Anderson (born April 20, 1937) is a retired college basketball coach. He was head coach of the Oregon State Beavers team from 1989 to 1995.[1]

He coached Beaver legends Brent Barry and Gary Payton. The Beavers' last NCAA Tournament appearance came under Anderson in 1990, when he was named the Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
