Jitendra Kumar is an Indian actor famous for his roles in comedy sketches of The Viral Fever.[1] He has established himself as the superstar of Indian web series world and is widely known for his characters Jeetu, Munna Jazbaati, Gittu[2] and Arjun Kejriwal,[3] a parody version of Arvind Kejriwal, Indian politician turned Delhi Chief Minister. His natural flair for acting instantly strikes a chord with the audience and keeps them engaged throughout.

Biography

Jitendra Kumar is from Khairthal in Alwar, Rajasthan. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.[1][4] He has done many stage plays as a part of the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society at IIT KGP where he met Biswapati Sarkar who eventually invited him to join TVF in 2012.

Acting career

Jitendra Kumar played the role of an overly sensitive corporate intern in his first TVF video, 'Munna Jazbaati : The Q-tiya intern' in 2013 which instantly went viral and crossed 3 million views. Since then, he portrayed several characters in TVF videos which include 'Tech Conversations With Dad', 'A Day With' series, TVF bachelor's series which crossed million views and many others.

Apart from TVF videos on YouTube, Jitendra Kumar has played a few significant roles in movies and web series.[5] He is predominantly famous for his character 'Jitendra Maheshwari', a frustrated corporate employee in the web series TVF Pitchers and 'Gittu', a confused bridegroom in Permanent Roommates web series. He played a major role in the season 2 of TVF's web series 'Bachelors' which crossed 20 million views on YouTube.
