Playing career
Lennox was born in Bristol, Gloucestershire. He joined Bristol City at the age of 14 and progressed through their academy.[3] He signed his first professional contract May 2010.[4] In March 2011, Lennox joined Conference National side Bath City on a one-month loan.[5] Having made his debut in a 1–0 win at Barrow,[6] he made two more appearances for Bath.[7] Lennox was released by Bristol City in January 2012 without making a first-team appearance.[8] Later that month, he joined Football League Two club Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season after a successful trial period.[9] He made his debut in a 1–1 draw with Crawley Town,[10] and made seven more appearances for the club during the campaign.
He signed a new short-term contract in the summer,[11][12] and scored his first senior goal in a 1–1 draw at Exeter City in December.[13] With his contract about to expire,[14] Lennox signed a one-month extension in January 2013.[15] Lennox was released at the end of the month after the club decided against offering him a new contract.[15][16][17] He made 23 appearances in league and cup competitions.[18] In February, Lennox returned to Bath City on trial and then signed non-contract terms.[19][20] He made his debut in a 2–0 defeat at Dover Athletic,[21] and scored his first goal for the club in a 3–1 win at Staines Town in April.[22][23] Lennox left Bath at the end of the season and spent the summer without a club before joining Chippenham Town in September.[24][25] He made his debut the next day in a 3–2 defeat at Yate Town in the FA Cup.[26] Lennox left Chippenham at the end of October, having made eight appearances in all competitions.[27][28]
