Joseph Maguire (born 18 January 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Crawley Town on loan from League One club Fleetwood Town.

Career

Maguire joined the Liverpool academy at U9 level, coming from Swinton Boys.[3] After progressing through the academy ranks he travelled with the Liverpool first team on their 2015 pre season tour and made a number of appearances in exhibition matches.[4] On 28 August 2014, Maguire joined Leyton Orient on a one-month loan deal.[5] Maguire made his professional debut four days later 1 September playing 90 minutes at centre back for Leyton Orient in a 2–1 Football League Trophy loss against Luton Town.[6][7]

On 8 January 2016, he was named in the first-team as a substitute in an FA Cup third round match against Exeter City. He was subsequently brought on in the 76th minute, with Liverpool drawing 2–2.[8]

Fleetwood Town

On 13 January 2017, Maguire signed two-and-a-half year deal with Fleetwood Town.[9]

Crawley Town (loan)

In August 2018 he joined Crawley Town on loan.[10]
