The third youngest of his children, Andrew "The Kid" Bartram, AKA AB, is also reported to have shown similar running ability to his father over the middle distance with recent unsubstantiated eye witness reports claiming he lapped the Melbourne Botanical Gardens in 13 minutes 56 seconds. John Lavers Bartram (born June 3, 1925) is an Australian track and field athlete who competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics in the 100 metres, 400 metres and 4 x 100 metres relay.
