John Francis William Rogers (born April 15, 1956) is an American businessman, serving as Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Goldman Sachs.[1] He was Chief of Staff at Goldman to CEOs Jon S. Corzine and Henry Paulson. He is said[who?] to have been United States Treasury Secretary Paulson's closest advisor while at Goldman, as well as a member of United States Secretary of State James Baker's inner circle. He is a graduate of the George Washington University. He has held numerous posts in US government including Under Secretary of State for Management from 1991 to 1993.
