John F. Wright (born December 24, 1945)[1] is a justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, appointed by Governor Ben Nelson in 1994. Born in 1945 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, he received both his B.S. and his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He served in the Nebraska National Guard from 1970 to 1976 and worked as a private practice attorney from 1970 to 1991, when he was appointed as a judge to the Nebraska State Court of Appeals.
