John Kannenberg (Milwaukee, WI) is a sonic and visual artist, whose work aims to evoke primal natural forces, spirituality, melancholy, nostalgia, and narrativity. His pieces, self-described as "quietly reflective," blur the boundaries between intention and accident, while incorporating techniques derived from free improvisation, musical composition, field drawing, minimalism, cubism and abstract expressionism.
