John Leslie (bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh)

John Powell Leslie (12 October 1772 – 22 July 1854[1]) an Anglican bishop on the Church of Ireland.,[2]

Leslie was the Bishop of Dromore from 1812 to 1820 when he was translated to the see of Elphin. In 1841 he became the first bishop of the united diocese of Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh. He had previously (1807 to 1812) served as Dean of St Fin Barre's, Cork

Leslie's son Charles was later briefly the bishop of the diocese.[3]
