John Luessenhop is an American film director. He graduated from University of Virginia, Georgetown University Law Center, and film schools at UCLA and NYU.[1]

He is the director of Takers (2010),[2] starring Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, T.I., Chris Brown and Hayden Christensen.

He also directed the drama film Lockdown (2000), creator and director of War Drama series Lone Star (2010) by FOX ,creator and director of science fiction drama series Awake (2012) by NBC ,the horror film Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) And creator of Card game Drama series Mind Games also Kyle Killen (2014) by ABC.
