John Cornelius Moberly (22 April 1848 – 29 January 1928) was an English cricketer. Moberly was a right-handed batsman.

Moberly was educated at Winchester College, where he represented the college cricket team in two non first-class matches against the Marylebone Cricket Club and Eton College.

Moberly made his only first-class appearance during the 1877 season for Hampshire against Derbyshire. Moberly scored 27 runs Hampshire's first innings and 4 in their second, leaving him with a batting average of 15.50.

In 1879 Moberly played a single non first-class match for the Marylebone Cricket Club against Winchester College.

Moberly died at Southampton, Hampshire on 29 January 1928.

Family

Moberly's nephew Robert Awdry played first-class cricket for Oxford University.
