John Ronald Angus Stroyan[6] (born 1955, Scotland) has been the Anglican Bishop of Warwick[7] since 2005.[8]

Education and career

He was educated at Harrow School, the University of St Andrews[9] and Queen's College, Edgbaston[10] before embarking on a curacy at St Peter’s Hillfields.[11] From 1987 until 1994 he was Vicar at St Chad, Smethwick,[12] then Bloxham for a further 9 years before promotion to Area Dean of Deddington in 2002. His pastoral dedication lead to elevation to the Episcopate[13] when Anthony Priddis was promoted to Hereford. He was installed at Coventry Cathedral on 1 May 2005.[14]
