Johnoy Danao is a critically acclaimed Filipino independent musician, composer, and singer-songwriter. He is best known as a live acoustic performer, but his two albums, "Dapithapon", and "Samo't Sari", have also garnered significant album sales and radio airplay.[3] Among his best known artistic collaborations are with director Jerrold Tarog for the soundtrack of the 2010 film Senior Year,[4] a series of gigs with guitarist Kakoy Legaspi in 2007,[5] and a yearlong concert series with fellow performers Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas, which culminated in a major concert performance at the Music Museum in San Juan in February 2016.[1]
