Jonathan Williams (born 1957) is a British horn player, who lives both in Fossa, near L'Aquila in Italy and in Knebworth, Hertfordshire, England.

Jonathan Williams was born in England, and studied with Sydney Coulston at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. In 1982 he joined the Chamber Orchestra of Europe as principal horn.[1] With The Gaudier Ensemble he recorded most of the central chamber music repertoire which includes the horn.[2] He was also co-principal horn of the BBC Symphony Orchestra.[3] In 1986 he recorded Mozart's four horn concertos accompanied by Alexander Schneider and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. In 2000, he co-founded the Orchestra Citta Aperta with Carlo Crivelli, and is its Artistic Director. From 2007 until 2015 he was artistic leader of the Min Ensemble of Norway. [4]
