Jono Macbeth

Jonathan "Jono" Macbeth (born Castor Bay, Auckland) is a New Zealand sailor who has competed in multiple America's Cups.

Macbeth was an endurance athlete until he was selected by Peter Blake who was looking for grinders.[1][2]

Macbeth joined Team New Zealand in 1997 and he was part of their 2000, 2003 and 2007 America's Cup campaigns.[3]

Macbeth joined Oracle Racing before the 2010 America's Cup and was subsequently a part of their 2013 America's Cup defence. He joined Ben Ainslie Racing as the sailing team manager and a grinder for their 2017 America's Cup campaign.[3][4][5]
