Juan Andrés Silva Cárdenas (March 11, 1989) is a Chilean footballer who plays is playing at Club de Deportes La Serena .

Club career

Juan Silva is a player of 24 years who still have not matured, because he's been involved in many acts of indicipline, starting in his youth club Santiago Wanderers. In 2006 he made his debut with Wanderers in a match against Colo Colo. In the Torneo Clausura 2006 played 16 games and didn't scored goals but he got some experience in the adult football. In early 2007, he played especially good in the Torneo Clausura where he made a goal to rival Everton and La Serena.

Because of his acts of indicipline, in November 2008 it was decided he would be sent in a loan. In early 2009 he was training together with staff of San Luis Quillota waiting to see if they could incorporate him into this club but the transfer failed. After twenty days he made a test at the Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, club that figures in the Serie C of Brazil and eventually succeeds in convincing the coach and it was originally sold for one year with option to buy but agreement did not took place finally. Since the second half of 2009 started training in Deportes La Serena facilities, club that had his rights back then. Later on, Silva went back and forth through several clubs like Cobresal, Ñublense, Cobresal and Rangers not getting desired continuity and just being in every club nearly a year.

As 2013 he is currently playing at Club de Deportes La Serena as midfielder, but several new incidents presumably involving alcohol and fights [1] and major discussions with the fans, including some explicit offensive gestures to the local crowd during a game the 14/12/2013 vs Deportes Temuco, making his tenure with the club a mystery for his recurring acts of indicipline.[2]
