Jupiter Entertainment (also known as Jupiter) is an unscripted television production company in the United States (US) founded by Stephen Land in 1996.[1] Jupiter actively engages in the creation and production of non-fiction television for a wide variety of broadcast and cable networks including A&E, Discovery, TLC, Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Food Network, and History Channel among others. In 2014 Jupiter produced 114 hours of programming ranging from documentary series, true crime thrillers, lifestyle formats, and docu-soap programming breaking numerous ratings records for their network partners. The bi-coastal company has offices located in New York, Los Angeles, and Knoxville, TN. [2]
In March of 2015, Variety announced former UTA agent, Allison Wallach, joined the company as President. [3] One week later, Variety announced a strategic partnership with European broadcasting giant Sky acquiring 60% of Jupiter, setting the stage for rapid growth and capitalizing on international programming opportunities. [4]
