KZXL (96.3 FM) is a radio station station licensed to Hudson, Texas, USA.[1] The station serves the Lufkin-Nacogdoches area. The station is currently owned by Pentagon Communications LLC/Amy Yates.[2] Amy Yates, who graduated from high school in 2011, is the daughter of Stephen Yates who owns several Lufkin, TX area radio stations. Stephen Yates is currently operating KZXL and placed the license of KZXL in Amy's name because his felony convictions prohibit him from owning any new stations.

The station is a semi-satellite of KBXX-FM in Houston.

History

The station was assigned the call sign KLSN on 2001-10-12. The station changed its call sign on 2008-07-04 to KLJK, and on 2009-03-03, to the current KZXL.[3]
