Kaatttile Thadi Thevarude Ana is a 1995 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Haridas, starring Jagathy Sreekumar and Siddique in the lead roles.[1][2][3]

Plot

Jagathy is a sincere home minister who has a sister (mathu). The sister is in love with Sidique. An incident happen that question the minister honesty. In a newspaper a MLA announces that he will show all the kanja dealers in a forest if both of them go together. The minister accepts and goes with the MLA. In the forest, the MLA and minister PA Janardhanan set a trap, minister get shot and falls down onto down forest area and now duplicate Jagathy, who was a usual local nuisance, is now set as home minister. The duplicate Jagathy now has to obey the PA and act according to the PA wishes. Meanwhile, original Jagathy is now recovering from arm injury tells to the surrounding tribal people himself as home minister. Finally the friends of duplicate Jagathy also finds original Jagathy, who tells himself as home minister. So the friends admit him to a nearby mental asylum. The duplicate Jagathy overhears the chief terrorist speak with the PA to kill Jagathy later after ISRO data get leaked and money they get from enemy countries. Here comes Sidique who was in jail, earlier trapped by PA to the jail. Sidique goes along with duplicate Jagathy to the asylum and frees original Jagathy. By this time the villains arrive and fights. Police arrives and the original Jagathy orders police to arrest the PA and all gunda. The film ends.
