Kanavil Kanda Kadhal Kavithai (English: The poem of love witnessed in dream) aka 4K is an upcoming Tamil road-thriller film written and directed by Hashim Marikar, making his directorial debut. It stars Jai in the lead along with newcomers Sonali Raut and Harshika Poonacha. The film has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.[1][2]

After a brief hiatus Jai is busy again with a couple of very interesting projects in his hands. It was reported that Jai, who is awaiting the release of Venkat Prabhu's Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, will start shooting for a road thriller which under the helm of Hashim Marikar, in January 2017. The makers have announced the title of the project as 4K (Kanavil Kanda Kadhal Kavithai). A source says, "The film will have edge-of-the-seat sequences and will be an out-and-out racy thriller. The movie will be shot in several locations, including Chennai." Harshika Poonacha and Sonali Raut have already been roped in to be a part of the project, which has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director.[2]

The soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, in his collaboration with Jai venture after Chennai 600028, Vaamanan, Goa, Vadacurry, Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings and Balloon.
