Kapileswarapuram is a village and a Mandal in East Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is named after Kapileswara Deva, a Gajapati king of Orissa.[1] This village has a religious school, where children from age 7 are taught the messages of the Vedas and Puranas.

It is 30 KM from the nearest railway station, and about 55 KM from the district town.

Geography

The Godavari river flows through the village. The Zamindari Board Middle School was founded in 1918, later changed to a High School and renamed after the Zamindar Sri Balusu Buchi Sarvarayudu garu.
