kathy ireland Worldwide is a design and marketing company, offering home and business solutions.[2] Its brand collections include home, office, fashion, acessories, pet products among other products.[1][4][5] It is also vested in licensing and entertainment through their subsidiary, The Sterling/Winters Company, an artist management company acquired by kathy ireland Worldwide, headquartered in California.[6]

History

kathy ireland Worldwide was founded in 1993, after Kathy Ireland apparel was sold through Kmart.[7][8][9] Beginning as a brand marketing firm, kathy ireland Worldwide expanded into home products in 2003 after ending its business relationship with Kmart.[8]

By 2004, kathy ireland Worldwide products were sold in 34,000 retail locations, in 14 countries, by 11 manufacturers.[9] In 2004, It generated roughly $1 billion in retail sales with 37 employees.[9][10]
