Katov is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 3 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi), and has a population of 204 (as at 3 July 2006).

Katov lies approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) north-west of Brno and 159 km (99 mi) south-east of Prague.
