Kerim Memija (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [kěrim měmija]; born 6 January 1996) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Danish Superliga club Vejle and the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team.

Club career

Željezničar

Memija came through Željezničar's youth academy and made his professional debut on 16 March 2014.[1] Earlier that year, in January, Memija was promoted to the first team and signed a five-year contract with the club.[2] He scored his first goal as a professional against Slavija on 17 August 2014.[3]

Vejle

In January 2017, Memija signed with Danish side Vejle until June 2020.[4] He debuted as a starter in a loss to Skive on 5 March.[5]

Just one season later, Memija helped the team in achieving promotion to Danish Superliga.[6]

International career

Memija represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on all youth levels throughout the years. He was also captain of the under-21 selection under coach Vinko Marinović.[7]
