Kidnapped is a 1917 silent film based on the novel Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson, directed by Alan Crosland at Edison Studios. The film only included selected parts of the story, and reinforced the then developing romanticisation of the Scottish Highlands.[1] No copies of the film are known to survive.[2]

Previously thought lost, a copy of the film is preserved in the Library of Congress collection.[3]
