Kraunchasana is an Asana. It is translated as Heron Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "krauncha" meaning "heron", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2][3]

Benefits and Cautions

This pose stretches the hamstrings, lower back and ankles. It also improves core stability.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have any knee, ankle or hamstring injuries.[4][5]
