Krośnica [krɔɕˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Izbicko, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Izbicko, 15 km (9 mi) north-west of Strzelce Opolskie, and 19 km (12 mi) east of the regional capital Opole.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).

The village has a population of 920.
