LÉ George Bernard Shaw (P64) is a Template:Sclass- (OPV) which, as of March 2018[update], is under construction for the Irish Naval Service. It is expected to be named for writer George Bernard Shaw, and the fourth ship in a series of vessels designed by Vard Marine and built by Babcock Marine Appledore.
Constructed in Devon, the vessel underwent keel laying in February 2017.[1][5] The vessel was first floated-out of the dry dock during March 2018, and is planned for delivery during 2018 following additional fitting-out and testing.[6]
