The Laguna Garzón Bridge is a bridge famous for its unusual circular shape. It is located in Garzón, Uruguay, and was designed by renowned Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly.[2][1] It is designed in a circular shape to force drivers to slow down and to allow for pedestrian access along the one-way circular route.[3]
It was opened to vehicular traffic in December 2015 and provides a crossing for up to approximately 1,000 vehicles a day.[4]
