Lake Yessey (Russian: Ессей) is a large freshwater lake in Krasnoyarsk Krai, north-central part of Russia. It has an area of 238 km². Many rivers empty to the lake. Lake Yessey is rich in fish.[citation needed] Salvelinus tolmachoffi, the endangered Lake Yessey Char, is found in the waters of this lake.[1]
