"Let's Dance"
Song

Let's Dance is a 1987 single by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea. The song appears on his 1987 album Dancing with Strangers and reached a peak of #12 in the UK Singles Chart, remaining in the chart for 10 weeks.[1] A version of the song was re-released with new lyrics in 1997 by Middlesbrough F.C., Rea's hometown football club, with the new lyrics provided by comedian Bob Mortimer.[2]

The 1987 CD single features a more laid-back slower version, whilst the more popular album version is "harder", faster and more rock 'n' roll in sound.
