2012

  • Life is My Movie Entertainment opens their offices in Los Angeles, CA.

2013

  • In preparation for the release of “American Made Movie,” Life is My Movie launches a 32-day, 32-city bus tour highlighting the significance of manufacturing in communities around the United States. [3]
  • In August, “American Made Movie” opens in theaters in New York, Los Angeles and other cities around the country. [4]

2014

  • “American Made Movie” partners with John Ratzenberger and the Foundation for America to create the National Educational Initiative (NEI) in an effort to re-emphasize the importance of manufacturing in the United States [5]
  • “American Made Movie”, along with a comprehensive lesson plan, is implemented in every public middle and high school in the state of Georgia. A $1 million dollar grant raised through NEI and The Foundation for America is presented to Georgia Governor Nathan Deal. [6]
  • In April, “American Made Movie” screens at the Nation's Capital with a bipartisan group of lawmakers. A panel discussion with members of Congress before and after the film tackles the “Make It In America” legislative agenda. [7]

2015

  • “Nerd Prom” premiers in Washington D.C. two weeks before the Presidential Correspondents’ Dinner to good initial reception. [8]
  • In May “The True Cost” premieres in London, Milan, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. At a Cannes Film Festival reception, Harvey Weinstein proclaims that ‘this movie’s going to shock the fashion world’, and it certainly did. [9]
  • Andrew Morgan’s “The True Cost” becomes available on Netflix in 190 countries in July 2015. [10]

2016

  • “One Day in April” is officially released worldwide after its initial premiere at the Heartland Film Festival. The film revisits the ongoing drama of bicycle racing in Bloomington, Indiana, as featured in the 1979 classic film Breaking Away. [11]
  • “Incarcerating US” premiers at Georgetown University followed by a panel discussion with leading experts. The panel includes: former federal judge Nancy Gertner, U.S. Congressman [Scott], Executive Director of the Criminal Justice Policy Foundation Eric Sterling, President & Founder of Families Against Mandatory Minimums Julie Stewart, Policy Director of Right on Crime Marc Levin, Executive Director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition Neill Franklin, and is moderated by Editorial Director of Events at Politico Luiza Savage.
