Lillstreet Art Center is an arts center in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Its facilities include arts education for different skill levels, a gallery, an artist residency program, studio space, and a community outreach program.[1] With the recent launch of the Ignite program, Lillstreet also supports local businesses through arts-based professional development.[2]
History
The center was originally established in 1975.[citation needed] In 2003, Lillstreet relocated from a converted horse barn on Lillstreet to a former gear factory on Ravenswood. The new facility is a beautiful, spacious center with state-of-the-art equipment and expanded course offerings.[3]
