Lyozna
Liozna ([Лёзна] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help), Polish: Łoźna, [Лиозно] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is an urban type settlement in Vitsebsk Voblast, Belarus, the capital of Liozna Raion. It is located close to the border with Russia by the Vitsebsk-Smolensk railroad branch and highway, on the Moshna River. Population: 6,753 (2005)
The first known record of the Liozno shtetl (small town with a high Jewish population) is dated by 1654.
