  2. ^ John C. Perry was appointed as Chief Judge of the Supreme Court of Wyoming Territory on March 26, 1884, but died on April 14, the day before his planned departure from Brooklyn to Cheyenne, and never took office.
  3. ^ a b Term continued into the State Supreme Court, being elected September 11, 1890.
  4. ^ Retired shortly before his death on December 10, 2004.
