The fictional characters of Power Rangers Dino Charge include the Power Rangers, their enemies, and their friends and allies in the battle.
Dino Charge Power Rangers
Tyler is the adventurous leader of the team, who morphs into the Red Dino Charge Ranger and commands the T-Rex Zord in battle. Years ago, Tyler's father was on an archaeological dig where he mysteriously disappeared, with Tyler searching for clues as to his fate. While investigating a cave, he discovers the Red Energem embedded in a fossil, and is pursued by the monster Iceage sent by Sledge. He manages to escape, and later saves Shelby who had run afoul of the monster after he stole a crate. Opening it, the Pink Energem is discovered to be inside, and the two gems transform into Dino Chargers. The two manage to morph into Power Rangers and fight off the monster.
Tyler is portrayed by Brennan Mejia.
Shelby Watkins
Shelby is the tomboy of the group, with a vast knowledge of dinosaurs, her favorite being the Triceratops. She works as a waitress at a prehistoric themed restaurant inside the local museum. She morphs into the Pink Dino Charge Ranger and commands the Triceratops Zord in battle. After stowing away in the back of a truck on a dig for the museum, she notices a cloaked figure making off with one of the crates and follows him. It turns out to be a monster called Iceage sent down by Sledge. She steals back the crate and just as the monster is about to destroy her she's saved by Tyler. Opening the crate, they discover the Pink Energem inside, and the two gems transform into Dino Chargers. The two manage to morph into Power Rangers and fight the monster off.
Shelby is portrayed by Camille Hyde.
Koda
Koda was a caveman who lived in jungle caves 100,000 years ago, its unknown how he came to be in modern times. He morphs into the Blue Dino Charge Ranger and commands the Stego Zord in battle.

Riley Griffin
Riley is the youngest member of the group, who is extremely skilled with a sword. He morphs into the Green Dino Charge Ranger and commands the Raptor Zord in battle.
Riley is portrayed by Michael Taber.
Chase Randall
Chase is the suave laid-back member of the group from New Zealand. He morphs into the Black Dino Charge Ranger and commands the Para Zord in battle.

Allies
Keeper
Keeper was the guardian of the Energems and mentor to the Rangers. 100,00 years ago he crash landed on Earth after being shot down by a pursuing Sledge. He entrusts the gems to a group of dinosaurs for safe keeping, he then sets a trap for Sledge, sending a bomb onboard his ship and crippling it, leaving him stranded in Earth-orbit. Unfortunately, this also releases asteroids Sledge had collected for payment, which rain down on the planet and cause the extinction of the dinosaurs. After a short battle with Fury, Keeper resigns himself to his fate and is caught in the aftershock of dirt and dust.
Keeper is portrayed by Eve Gordon and voiced by Richard Simpson.
Kendall
A serious-minded scientist who works for the local museum and ally to the Rangers.

Sledge
Sledge is an intergalactic bounty hunter with thoughts of grandeur, who prides himself on capturing monsters and collecting the bounty on there head, with payment being made in asteroids. Sledge is rather ill-tempered to his subordinates, though he does show a softer side to his fiance Poisandra. He plans to capture the Energems and gain ultimate power for himself, pursuing the guardian of the gems known as "Keeper", to pre-historic Earth. Keeper sets a trap, sending a bomb onboard Sledge's ship where it explodes, crippling his ship and leaving him stranded in Earth orbit, but not before he looses his assortment of asteroids, which rain down on the planet, causing the extinction of the dinosaurs.
His ship is equipped with a full prison to hold the vast assortment of monsters he has collected in his bounties, sending them down to Earth to fight the Rangers.
Sledge is voiced by Adam Gardiner.
Fury
The Ill-tempered and quick to anger general to Sledge, who wields a sword in battle that can harness lightning. After arriving on Earth, Fury is sent down to the planet to capture the Energems from Keeper. He finds an unconscious Keeper and the case housing the gems and returns to the ship. This turns out to be a trap, as he had sent Fury back with a bomb, which cripples the ship and leaves Sledge stranded. In the commotion Fury is hurled back inside his ship and is launched to the planet below where he engages Keeper in combat. After a short battle, he attempts to escape, but is caught in the oncoming debris from the asteroids. Fury later appears as a sketch in the notes of Tyler's father, implying he might be responsible for his disappearance.
