The following is the List of the Roman Catholic dioceses of Japan. The Roman Catholic Church in Japan is divided into sixteen ecclesiastical territories, called dioceses, led by prelate bishops. Dioceses led by archbishops are called archdioceses. There are three archdioceses which serve as the seats of three metropolitan provinces of the Roman Catholic Church.
